A diphthong in the Latin language; used also by the Saxon
writers. It corresponds to the Gr. ai. The Anglo-Saxon short
[ae] was generally replaced by a, the long [=ae] by e or ee.
In derivatives from Latin words with ae, it is mostly
superseded by e. For most words found with this initial
combination, the reader will therefore search under the
letter E.

Questions & Answers
How many Rechargeable 3200mA AA batteries would you need to start a car? How many Rechargeable 3200mA AA batteries would you need to start a car?
If you have a car that's easy to start, it can still take 90 to 100 amps from the battery. That's at 12 volts. You need 8 AA batteries in series to create 12 volts. You also need to parallel at least 28 sets of these 8 batteries in series to get 90 amps. That's 224 AA batteries total. If you need 100 amps that would require 256 AA batteries. An interesting concept but not very practical.
Sorry, I just realized I used 1.5 volts as the battery voltage. A rechargeable AA battery is rated at 1.2 volts so the number of batteries would be higher. 280 batteries for 90 amps and 320 batteries for 100 amps.
How do you get and apply for a AA degree in a community college? Like do you and can you major in something in community college? If so how?
Also how to get a AA degree because they are just all classes.
its really easy. just fill out an application-u can get one on-line or over the phone- then the college will give you a student ID or student #. then u can enroll for classes!
take any classes that interest you. you can get advice on which classes to take from a counselor at the college. AA degree just means that you took a certain amount of classes in a specific topic.
For example, if u get an AA degree in computers then it just means that u took alot of computer courses and you learned(hopefully) a lot of basic information about computers.
It might seem overwhelming at first, but once you apply and start actually going to classes, you will know all whats going on and everything will be more clear.
What's the difference between AA and AAA hockey? I'm very confused about all this AA and AAA stuff. I need to know what the difference is. Also, i heard that if I want to get into a good hockey college I should go play AAA not AA. And does playing AAA expose you to more scouts than AA?
Well it depends on where you live. Playing AAA is not be all and end all of the universe. Some smaller centres don't even have AAA teams. You are more likely to get noticed in AAA but it's not the only factor. You also have to be able to keep your marks up, which is tough with an AAA schedule and then there's cost and time. Are your parents able to do this for you? Some people just can't. It takes a lot of time and money.
I have to warn you though that if you're asking this question I don't like your odds of making one of these teams. It could be that you're some sort of phenom who never put on skates until he was 12 and suddenly discovered he had a God given gift but it's not likely. These are teams you have to try out for, you don't just walk into your local association and say I want to play AAA.
