Do Aarons and Rent a Center sell off their returned furniture after rental from a central depot?

Aaron's does in some areas not all there is one here in DFW in Arlington at there Rent to rent location. Rent a Center does not they just flip it until they cant no more Have had sets max out on inventory description at 999 days(does not support 4 digits) and still rent it out at 60 % of original rental term with zero book value... At Aarons they don't have as much leway on the pricing as Rent A Center. At Rent A Center the motto is make as much as possible reguardless the condition. At aarons they can sell you furniture at a discounted rate but it has to go through there regional manager. If anything just call around and see if the stores want to get off of some older merchandise tell them how much you want to spend. Any other questions just email them.

im in the process of getting a 7pc micro fiber sectional set which comes with the sofa/loveseat , coffee table,2 end table and two lamps ....my payment will be per month 117.00 for 18months but heres the catch the sofa are used!!!!! 1-10 scale on how used....about 2 also on one of the armrest it has a pen mark.......i havent signned nothing but did leave down my first month payment to hold them and still got till monday to finalize the deal........should i pass or neg for a lower price

What can you tell me about Rent-to-own stores? ie Rent-A-Center, Aarons Rentals?
Our son has a part time job now. So we are having him to purchase his own things. Things that he wants. He went to one of those stores and found a plasma TV that he wants. Scince he is underage, it has to go under me or my husband's name. I talked to one of the people and told them I do not want anything to damage our credit and such. He says it is no credit and all of that. Anyway they gave me a form to fill out. This form asks our mortgage company, references, and a lot of info that suspiciously look like a credit application to me. Another troubling thing is the price. This TV is 32inches and it is 49.99 a week plus tax. It has a cash price of 3,000 dollars, and total cost 6000. First of all, how much will he pay? I am feeling uneasy about this thing. Someone told me that if he is one day late that they will come to my home!!!!
Please give me some good info, not just don't do it or do it.
bad bad idea, bad bad bad idea. by the time he pays for it he'll of at least paid twice as much as it's worth and at 6 grand it's already over priced. i've never done it myself nor do i intend to
