what happens if you miss a court ordered AA meeting?
Wha thappens if yo umiss a court ordered AA meeting? What kind of troubl ewill you get in, if any?
Hmmmm are you sure alcohol is not causing you problems?
I've just returned from an AA meeting and all present stood and admitted that they were alcoholic?
Is it a good idea to trust them with my car or should I join the RAC?
Good point, and they stand there outside motorway services trying to get you to join, just so they can get your money so they can go down the offie and get some white lightening!
What goes on in a "Big Book" meeting in AA? I would just like to know what to expect.?
I haven't been to an AA meeting at all so please be specific.
After some preliminary readings (also from the Big Book, the actual title of which is "Alcoholics Anonymous") and prayers there will be more reading from the Big Book and discussion of the readings.
Some people relate to what's in the book; others are struck by the extremely dated language and the starry-eyed attitude people have towards every word that's in it. If you find that AA isn't your cup of tea but you do want to quit drinking, here are some other options:
