Travel tips for Chicago, London & NYC?
I am travelling to Chicago, London & NYC in two weeks...any suggestions on what to do/where to go aside from the typical tourist attractions (i.e. Sears Tower, Westminster Abbey, etc.)?
In Chicago (if you want the untouristy thing) go to Pilsen on the west side. It its a little rough so maybe go when it's still light out. You can eat some great Mexican food (not as good as in Mexico but still good) and check out the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum or all the art galleries...Polvo for example. Just take the PINK or BLUE line to 18th St. If you like looking at architecture and fancy houses go to Oak Park a suburb west of Chicago it has all the Frank Lloyd Wright Houses you can take a tour or just roam around. Take the GREEN line that goes to Harlem and get off on OAK PARK AVENUE. I was just tin NYC. I was up to here with Times Square but I really enjoyed Central Park. Specially Strawberry Fields the area dedicated to John Lennon.
