    abc LOST??
ok does anybody remember from the 1st episode where Jack has Kate stitch the cut on his back?? Ok does anybody know what he said about being scared when he was operating on somebody? It was something about fear and counting to three..? Sorry i can't be more specific. I would really like the full quote though...thanks! =]

Kate: You don't seem afraid at all. I don't understand that. Jack: Well ... fear’s sort of an odd thing. When I was in residency, my first solo procedure was a spinal surgery on a sixteen-year-old kid. A girl. And at the end, after ... 13 hours, I was closing her up and I ... I accidentally ripped her dural sack. It’s right at the base of the spine where all the nerves come together. Membrane is thin as tissue. So it ... it ripped open. Nerves just spilled out of her like angel hair pasta. Spinal fluid flowing out of her and ... and the terror was just so ... crazy. So real. And I knew I had to deal with it. So I just made a choice. I’d let the fear in. Let it take over, let it do its thing. But only for five seconds, that’s all I was gonna give it. So I started to count: 1...2...3...4...5. And it was gone. I went back to work, sewed her up, and she was fine. Kate: If that had been me, I think I would’ve run for the door. Jack: No, I don’t think that’s true. (pause) You’re not running now. http://www.tv.com/lost/pilot-1/episode/334467/trivia.html

How can I get a job working on the set of ABC's Lost?
I would absolutely love to work on the set of Lost, but I have been googling this question (and many variations of the question) for quite some time now with no results. Do I have to apply just to ABC and then ask if I get hired, ask if I can specifically work on the Lost set? Thanks in advance for any help!
