Is the acer aspire quad with these specs good for $1100 canadian?
From futureshop, Computer is Acer Aspire with 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Q6600 Quad , 2048MB DDR2 RAM , a 500 GB Hardrive, DVD burner , ATI Radeon X1650 256MB , and a generic sound card that supports 7.1 surround sound. The package also includes a Samsung 21.6" widesreen LCD moniter that is 3000:1 ratio and 5 ms response time. Just wondering if this is a good deal for $1100 canadian or can I get a similar package like this cheaper in Canada? Also will this be a good package to play games with? Thanks.
From what you have included here, yes it is a very good gaming computer. The only other information you might want to check if the Front Side Bus FSB speed. The higher the better, and this one should be around 400-800 Mhz.
