Is the Sony Battery recall still available for Acer laptops in India?
Just found out that Acer announced a while ago that they would replace faulty Sony laptop batteries. I managed to find the original press release (http://www.acer.co.in/support/vbr.html) but im not sure if the offer is still available.
Has anyone from India had their battery replaced? I haven’t contacted the call centre yet (hope this is still the right number 1800 116677).
Thanks for your input. Just wanted to know if it was worth trying.
