Thanks for the initial answers. Still have problem.Tried to update Acrobat reader but....?
I still get a popup requesting Valid copy of Installation Package for MS Windows Journal.msi before i could finalize with Reader update or when trying to pdf my Word doc. The pdffile is there but when i go to open --the popup returns
This is something that has just started happening over the past few days and with programs I have used many times. I have to use Zapper to end task or the popup just continues looking for MS Journal Viewer and then asks for Win Jounal Viewer again!I havent installed or deleted any programs
1) Shut down your PC completely. Do not restart - SHUT DOWN.
2) Give is about 5 minutes after shutdown.
3) Reboot
4) BEFORE starting ANY programs...
A) Run Windows Update then reboot
B) Defrag your system then reboot
C) Run your Antivirus Update DO NOT reboot
D) Scan your system for viruses then reboot
5) Go online, look for updates from Adobe, install and reboot
6) Try it again. If that doesn't work, then try uninstalling your recalcitrant program then reinstalling it.
how do i update to acrobat reader 7.0?
i can't read my e-mail download because it needs the updated acrobat reader.
