Why does Activesync not sync my Blackjack over bluetooth in Windows XP SP2?
I was on Windows Vista when I got my Blackjack's bluetooth to work with Activesync. When I tried it on XP it absolutely refused to work. I can get every other bluetooth service to work but activesync!!!!!
Yeah activesync with XP doesn't work too well over bluetooth.
How do I stop my computer from lauching ActiveSync during start up?

I tried the msconfig route, but ActiveSync wasn't listed. Where else could it be?
Go to Start>Run and type msconfig and press enter. Click startup and remove the check from ActiveSync press apply, restart computer.
Activesync 4.1 doesn't work with XP service pack 1?
I'm trying to install Activesync 4.1 on my laptop, but it says the same error message each time I try and it says I should update my Windows XP Service Pack, but on the download page on microsoft.com it says it will work with SP1.
Is that a mistake? Will I have to upgrade to SP2?
I have an old Compaq Ipaq, I use ActiveSync 4.1 and it works fine. I have Windows XP Pro. But then again, I have XP Pro SP2 so maybe you do need to upgrade, but I highly dont think thats the case.
Try updating your SP2 at http://www.microsoft.com and go to Microsoft update. It shouldnt take very long to update. It is quite possible that you might need to upgrade. I think SP2 has more security features, so you might want it anyway.
