Has anyone put together a local club that plays Board Games?
Or do you belong to one?
I am talking about board games like Monopoly, Jepardy, Risk and others?
It sound like fun for addicts like me, anyone know?
I have! We meet every Wednesday night and it's been going for over 5 years. We don't really play the "old standards" like Monopoly though because we're tired of them, we play the type of boardgames found here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/browser.php?itemtype=game&sortby=rank
They generally finish in under 2 hours so we can play a couple games in a night.

have you played risk?
Does anyone like the board game risk and risk2 as much as i do? If you don't know it, it's about world domination and stuff. I play is so much it's almost addicting. Don't get me wrong i'm not a nerd or anything. I just like it a lot. It's one of my weaknesses like harry potter movies.
hey i had the same problem when i used to play runescape. I eventually quit because it just kept getting to addiciting and it seems that i wasnt getting as social as i would like..but this is what i would try suggesting..just take 1 week off and do other things with your family..that got atleast 50% of my addicition off me. then what you could do for maybe 5 days is just relax..do homework..study..watch tv..maybe play a little xbox here and there. thats what i did..then spend another week with your family.. they will enjoy spending time with you..then you shouldnt care to much about the game anymore..it worked for me so it can work for you
