Question about downloading other Sims 2 games?
Okay, just like half of the world, I'm addicted to Sims games.. whether it be Sims 2 Pets, or Sims Deluxe for pc.. or even all Sims games for PS2.
I don't get the fine print went downloading the Sims for pc. My dilemma is that I have Sims 2 downloaded to my external hard drive. I wanted to download Sims 2 Fashion, but the instructions say not to download this game in the same area as Sims 2. What does this mean? Can I still download S2Fashion to my external hard drive? Or do I need to download S2Fashion somewhere else on my computer? Any help would be appreciated. Losing any and all of my saved game time would be hell.
I've read the instructional manual backwards and fowards. Please only give answers that would actually help.
By default, the game saves to different places or the two games would try to override each other. go to: thesims2.ea.com. go to the bbs boards under technical help. You may have to start an account but it features people around the world who may be able to answer your question.
How do I get my Husband to realise he is putting WoW first?
I am about to give birth to our first child (in about two weeks) and am terrified that though my husband promises to 'be there' and help, he is addicted to a game called World of Warcraft and has made these promises (re: Housework etc) in the past and never kept up with them. The minute he is home, WHAM! In front of the game for hours. He says that it will be different with our baby. I don't believe him! Why is it so hard to make the effort with me?
He has been addicted to these games for about 4 years now, and if things don't improve I think that the grass will start to look greener. Anyone with the same experience out there?
Wow I know what you're going through 'cause I was the addict in our house (not with WoW but with Civilization). I feel your pain. My wife put up w/ my addiction gracefully for too long and becaume very embittered. I would suggest that you talk to him and try to explain that this is really embittering you. If that doesn't work try getting a third party to talk to (counseller). I would suggest that you take care of it as soon as possible b/c it will get even worse w/ the baby being around (he will view WoW as an escape from the responsibilities of fatherhood).
