You have to install it manually. The website should give you downloads for your operating system. Click 'download plugins manually' and it'll lead you to the website.
why isnt adobe flash player downloading for me?

I have the same problem, you can try using a different browser. Maybe seamonkey (also made by mozilla) or opera
Well I just installed opera and everything seems to be going good. It seems like it might even be slightly faster than firefox, it doesn't seem to be having trouble loading flash-based websites. It's actually a pretty good browser, I think I may even permanently switch to opera from firefox.
