Adobe Flash?
I used to have flash on my PC but now when I go to youtube it says that I either have to download the latest version of flash player or my Java script is turned off. I have tried to download Flash 9 from the Adobe site and it apears to download but I never see the completion film. Also when ever I go to any web site a pop up asks me if I want to download Flash but it won't let me which is very annoying. Can anyone help me please?
When you click the link to install adobe flash look at the top of your browser directly below the address bar. There should be a beige/tan colored banner that blocks the active x control. Right click on this banner and choose "install active x" control
Can i download adobe flash player and make a slideshow to improve my photography website?
is it that easy? all the cool photography websites i see have adobe flash player for their slideshow and it always looks awesome and very professional. so is it as simple as just downloading it and then designing my own slideshow and then putting it on my site??????
Flash player is merely a plug-in that allows Flash files to be played on your computer.......... to make the actual slideshows, you need the the FLASH creation software, which is "make your eyes pop out on stalks" expensive - like don't expect any change out of $700, and then you still need to learn how to work.

What version of adobe flash should i get?
I want to get adobe flash to make animations at home, but im not sure what version to get or where to get it. I don't need the best version and i dont want to spend that much.
I have Flash 8, but there's not much difference betwen it and MX 04. You can also get MX 04 much cheaper than 8, and the features are the same.
There is a great book out there, but I can't remember the author off the top of my head. If you search for a book on Flash MX 04, I'm sure it will pop up. It is bright orange. Get that one... It has everything you need to know about Flash MX 04 in it and the tutorials are awesome.
