in a word yes
open the pdf file in Adobe reader...press the print icon top of page..then press properties..another window opens...press advanced ...where you find it says greyscale press on the box ..which will leave a tick...then press ok to print ....bear in mind after this print out...you will need to repeat the process above....as the printer will revert to colour again
