Questions & Answers
Aer Lingus: Dublin to New York? I'm travelling to New York on Aer Lingus and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the economy class has the TV screens on the back of the seats or if they still use the over head screens
They have both. Some planes have the individual screens, some have the ones that come down from the ceiling. Completly the luck of the draaw as to which plane shows up I am afraid.
I had a friend who was travelling with kids & was willing to fly on any day of the week to have the individual screens. She called airlingus & was told it wasn't possible. What shows up shows up I am afraid!
flight EI 145 by aer lingus from dublin, Ireland to Los Angeles on 9-1-2007? Time of arrival in Los Angeles on Sat. 9-1-'07
different time zones?
Direct flights from San Francisco to Dublin with Aer Lingus? Is this actually going to happen or is it just hearsay and wishful thinking?
More likely wishful thinking, because the distance is just too long. It makes the most sense economically to stop in NY or Boston in order to refuel - and once they do that they are competing with flights that go SF-NY or SF-Boston and NY/Boston-Dublin.
Long distance planes need to carry all their fuel with them, making them extra-heavy and thus expensive. Plus, not many people like to take such long trips when a break is possible.
