why are aer lingus flight more expensive than ryan air, even though the base cost is the same ie £1
The total cost with ryan air was £64 and the total with Aer Lingus was £166, surely the taxes from the same airport would be the same?
It takes into account, times of the flight, how many seats they have sold for the flight already, how far in advance you booked etc
If you log on now, both prices will probably have changed since you last looked.
Aer Lingus baggage allowance??

I am going on an aer lingus flight in april and I am wanting to pay the baggage fee now but the website is not v clear. I am wanting to take one small suitcase and a handbag (hand luggage), so will have have to pay for 2 bags or just one ie do you pay the baggage fee for handluggage?!
As far as I am aware you only pay for the luggage you check into the hold. So your hand luggage is free.
