Questions & Answers
using travelocity for aer lingus flights? I am flying to ireland in early 2007, i plan to book flights using travelocity as booking through aer lingus means i have 3 flights instead on travelocity i can just limit to 2 flights and just 11 hrs of flying time, but does aer lingus accept e tickets issued from another company or website other then their own e tickets?
If they are the appointed agent by aer lingus, then shouldn't be a problem. you can always contact aer lingus to find out.
other source to check flights:

Returning to US from the UK - question about going through customs? I will be returning to the US with my 4 children after a year in the UK. My husband needs to stay a bit longer and will be following us later. Our flight will be booked with one airline, but there are three legs in our trip. We will go from Glasgow to Dublin and Dublin to Boston on Aer Lingus and from Boston to Washington, DC on American Airlines. Since the flights are all booked together on the Aer Lingus website, can I assume that our luggage will be transferred automatically? The last leg is a domestic flight, so will I have to go through customs in DC once I collect my bags or in Boston? I need to make sure I have enough help with the children (the youngest is 3) and all the luggage while we struggle through customs!
Your bags will be tagged to your final destination however, you will be asked to clear US customs at your initial point of entry into the States. Once cleared, you will drop your bags in an area marked for connecting flights... I know it sounds complicated, but I do it all the time and it's pretty straightforward.
Logan (Boston) is not as crazy as some and you can hire a porter to help with the transfer... tip about $2 a bag
Good luck
