How do i make shirts look, Distressed, or how do i give it that 2 tone look, like Affliction shirts?

This is so easy. I can't believe no one else answered.
Step 1: use sandpaper to scrape the screenprinted part. This roughs it up a bit.
Step 2: In a clothes washer, add two cups rock salt to the water. No soap needed. Wash on warm temp.
Step 3: repeat Step 2 as many times as needed until the distressing is perfect.
Note: if you own a washer, you may want to do this at the landromat. I don't know if you want rock salt in yours. It eventually disolves, but it might last a few extra loads.
