Questions & Answers
Have you seen how AXA the insurance company is trying to destroy our Countryside? (please go to the http://www.stopkig.org/
AXA are backing a Rail/Freight interchange and massive warehousing faclility at the foot of the North Downs amongst some of the oldest and best preserved villages in the country.
Do you think your insurance comapny should be investing in the destruction of the English Coutryside.
Planning permission has been sort and you can object now!!
Gary - They think 3500 new jobs but this is in an area of near full employment. But i have not know warehousing to be a very labour intensive industry!
Since when did large corporations care about rural preservation? Their primary interest is profit and any environmental concerns will be smokescreened by the usual slick public relations exercise. It will take a concerted effort to stop this thing in its tracks. From a planning perspective it is difficult to see why that kind of facility has to be built at that specific location.
