Does anyone know what Babies"R"Us hourly rate of pay is?
I am looking to get a job at Babies R Us and i already have a job. Does any one know the starting hourly rate of pay? I live in central California, i dont know if that would make a difference. I am just curious if i would be making more money there or at my current job. Serious answers only please
Its based on production. The more babies you produce, the more you make.
Babies R Us?
My local Babies R Us has a sign up inside their store that is always up, and has always been up since I can remember. It says they are "Now Hiring". I started looking for a part time job because I have 2 babies and need the money..I was on a job search website and babies R Us had an ad saying they are now hiring (that ad is always on there too) I applied and they called me and said it would be a group interview. I went and they put us to some pretty extreme tests. They made us go on the sales floor and talk to associates, try & sell people items, talk about ourselves, build something out of connectable toys, just a bunch of crazy stuff. Then they tell us at the end that they are holding more group interviews and only 1 person will be chosen. I was not chosen. Why are they so particular, and why does it always say they are hiring? The workers that I spoke with said they had been there for years so how can they always be hiring? I'm not mad or anything it was just really odd.
The thing is that they didn't expect us to know anything about the products. If that were the case, me having 2 babies would have really impressed them. And one of the sales associates I talked to could barely speak English. She was Asian, and I had a hard time conversing with her so that also doesn't make sense if they are looknig for the best employees.
