Bank of America overdraft protection sign up?
I can't figure out how to sign up for it. It said to call the number, but I can't find it in the options anywhere. Thanks. :)
Financially sound person and had problems = broke and doesn't keep track of their spendings. You usually get put into it automatically. If you aren't sure then go into your branch and ask a banker if you are in it or if you can be in it.

Why does Bank of America make you cancel the same check every 6 months?
If you get your signed Bank of America check stolen and you cancel that check, that check will be able to be cashed in 6 months. So unless you get that check back, you have to cancel it every 6 months forever just in case the thief is holding it or close the account. Why is Bank of America doing this? Do all banks do this?
Yes, all banks do this. Now, let me ask you this. If you get a check, take it to the bank where it is drawn from and attempt to cash it and they tell you they can't cash the check, are you going to hang on to it for a few months and try it again. Probably not. Also, checks are usually not honored if they are six months or older. So, you are fine. Don't waste $30 every 6 months to stop one check, it's not worth it.
