I would 1st hold a meeting with each department that was below appropriate customer satisfaction levels and brain storm in 2 areas. What are we doing wrong and what can we do to improve it.
The second group I would want to talk to would be the customers and see what we did right and wrong.
We would put a plan in place to be above standards in Annual Eye exam screening for Diabetes patients (members)

1. Evaluate- Review all records related to customer service/satisfaction and quality of care, starting with the "complaint" forms. Identify the key elements involved in order of priority. Determine the cause of the complaint (this is usually a "trickle down" problem) ex: Patients complain that they are being doubled billed or billed late for procedures after insurance has paid. Research finds that the hospital/dr. office was late, misplaced, or careless in their billing. This was the result of a lack of competent personnel in the billing department. The same would apply in medical situations.
2. Develop a better process of accountability for staff members of all departments and organizations. usr oversight methods to control and reevaluate the progress and effectiveness of the program.
3.Review the Preventive Diabetes Eye program and determine how you can increase awareness in preventative measures. If necessary, implement mandatory measures to ensure patients receive the preventative indformation and treatment. Continue to moniter and evaluate the effectiveness of all programs..This is the only way to stay on top of the situation. Think of it this way. Your programs have a fever-you have determined the cause and are doing something about it-but if you don't keep taking the temp of the program, how do you know the methods to control the condition are working. It's a matter of taking the Vital Signs of the program to ensure a healthy GROWTH.
