Why are Boots able to sell Early Learning toys 3 for 2 when you have to pay full price from Early Le
If you buy the toys from the Early Learning centre they are full price where as Boots sell the exact same toys all the time in their 3 for 2 range;the question is why ?And indeed how are they able to sell them cheaper?
Good question I'd like to know too lol.
Where do I buy toys for my grandchildren?
Like all grand parents, I ruin my grandchilden wanting them to have toys that they love to play with, & I love to give them.
Sadly, I have been round all the major retailers Mothercare, Early Learning Centre, Toys R Us & all they seem to be are major retailers of Chinese products, despite there questionable origin.
When I buy toys for my loved ones I want them to reflect the honest values of childhood -love,innocence,security, integrity, trust & dont want to compromise on these qualities.
I dont want to line the pockets of a regime that imposes forced abortion on mothers to be (unless their first child was a girl, or they are rich!!) , forcefully sterilizes healthy young males & generally has little regard for humanity.
I have written to these three retailers to ask them why they continue to sell Chinese toys, only ELC gave me the courtesy of a reply!!!
Where can I find a retailer that sells mainly European toys, where my money will not support anti life attrocities????
The suggestion about Woolworths I have tried and Chad Valley toys are Chinese, I also thought being Chad Valley they may be UK made.
Disney, for all its moral high ground over the years of its film content, probably is the most supportive of China, EVERYTHING is made there!
I know how you feel! Shopping in retail stores will get you the same generic junk that everybody else buys. Many of these toy products are mass produced under unhumane working conditions. Thats shameful that these retailers couldn't give you the common courtesy of a response to your questions. I know that when I shop for my kids and nephews, the first and last place I look is a website called www.icheaptoys.com They have researched the hottest new and vintage toys on ebay and made it easier then ever to find exactly what your looking for. www.icheaptoys.com is the best that I have seen. I hope this helps.
Should the Government and Toy retailers be protecting our children?
Again Mattel are withdrawing another line of toxic toys this time its Fisher-Price, this is the Third time in only two months!
Surely the Government and Mothercare, Early Learning Centre and ToysRus along with all other major toy retailers should withdraw ALL toys Made in China until the danger is over?
Lead in paint is toxic to adults (check on a paint tin), to children it may be much worse.
Why are they not acting????
No the government has enough to do without babysitting. It is a parent's job to protect their children. Toys from China are cheap. You get what you pay for.
