Questions & Answers
Why do professional journalists write news stories as if they're op-eds? Rueters, members of the AP, just about every MSM organization uses dramatic terms and opinion associated phrasiology when writing news stories. When I was learning journalism, our professors were very adamant against the use of misleading or even leading headlines and colorful adjectives. The header of the story began with who, what , where, and why, and then you wrote the facts of the story without including emotional or opinionated add-ons. What happens to these journalists and their editors after college?
What college did you go to?

My answer is that I don't believe most journalist learn to write "fact-based" news stories. Welcome to my world.
