Questions & Answers
When will the FA introduce video replays for referees? With the permiership season only just started, and a few doubious decisions already, when will the FA introduce video playback for the referee or 4th official. It has worked well in Rugby for years and is now working well in both tennis and cricket. Surley it's time the FA moved forward and followed suit. It would also stop the players arguing with the Ref if it's shown on the big screens that most clubs have. I'm sure all this arguing with the Ref spills over to the fans on the street after the game causing more agro and more policing.
Couldn't agree with you more. I've been calling for this to happen but football's big wigs seem intent on holding the game back whilst other sports are getting the benefit.
It doesn't take long for an incident to be reviewed by the referee, or even the fourth official while he is on the line, and controversial decisions like penalty decisions like old trafford yesterday, Anfield recently and even David Healy's goal that was never given would be no more and i think the game would be the better for it.
sometimes the game finishes and you feel robbed. Sympathy to spurs fans for yesterday as well. Video replay would of been ideal.
How do I get a trial with an FA Premier team? I'm a sixteen-year-old, american teen wondering how I can get a chance to tryout for the reserves and eventually play on an FA Premier League team. If I can buy a plane ticket to England, where would I go from there?
Maybe sign to a team with great coaches and high standards, when u go to some big tournaments you will see some scouter who will find u and try to sign u to a pro team. There's an awful lot of luck if one of them are from the EPL. Most likely you would be signed to the Football League Champs league and will build ur popularity and work your way up into the EPL. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo was undiscovered talent until Sporting Lisbon played Manchester United and was discovered, and look at him now, One of the top players in the world! You could be like that...
What's the difference between the Nikon F3 and the FA? I already have the Nikon FA, but the F3 seems to be calling out my name too! What are the pros and cons?
Unless you need the interchangeable finders, more ruggedness of a pro body, or a faster motor drive, there is no compelling reason to get the F3 if you already have an FA. The FA is actually far more advanced than the F3. The FA has all 4 standard exposure modes, matrix metering, and a standard ISO flash shoe that works with all Nikon TTL flashes, while the F3 only has aperture priority AE, centerweighted metering, and a proprietary flash shoe limiting you to, I believe 3 Nikon flash models (I have an SB-16B for my F3), or an expensive TTL adapter.
The only reason I have an F3 is that I got a "deal" on it... an advantage of being from a "bad neighborhood"(this is going back a few years, unfortunately my "connection"... the middleman between the crackheads and people like me, has passed away)... Otherwise my primary Nikon MF body these days would be an FE (I used to have a nice black one that I regret trading away).
