I'm havin problems signin on to itunes, msn, and facebook, but my internet is working fine?
My internet (windstream, DSL) is working fine. I can get on here, search google, and some other stuff. But if I try to sign on to MSN messenger I get a message that says "Signing into Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavilable." I ran the troubleshooter and it said you might have a problem with your firewall, but we don't have a firewall.
Also, I can't sign into itunes. I can search for songs but when I try to sign in to buy them it says "Make sure your connection is active and try again."
When I try to sign into facebook it just gives me an error page.
If you have no firewalls like norton, mcafee, zone alarm or anything like that...I know the dsl modems provided by windstream have a built in firewall that could be turned on. If you also have a network router, it may have one. Click on the link below to try accessing your speedstream and then put in admin for the username and password on the popup screen. Then click on the Setup link on the left side and then click the Firewall link and then the Level link. If its off, then its something on your pc (or network router if you have one). If its on Medium or higher, turn it to Low and save the settings.
