How do you verify a facebook account in the uk?
Hi there I'm new to facebook and having a whale of a time trying to verify my account. When you click to verify your account with a mobile phone there's now prefix number for the uk and having tried facebook's own technicians several times I've now given up trying so I thought I'd turn to some more knowledgeable folk.
I had no trouble verifying mine. Did you remember that, lets say your number was 0771007007 (not, obviously, my number). If you were phoning from outside the country, or if you ring someone for the first time, it'd be +44771007007.
If you're putting that number into Facebook to be verified it winds up as: 1771007007.
REMEMBER TO TAKE OFF THE FIRST ZERO
Otherwise, if that doesn't help, check your carrier. I'm with Vodafone.

I don't think they have a phone number you normally have to contact them by Email.
A lot of websites do this, Ebay is the same, you have to Email them when you have a problem, very frustrating.

Ive read some of the answers to your question and actually the answer is quite simple , it does not require it tobe yahoo or any particular one,just use your normal email address, bt,karoo,hotmail,aol,etc, only requirement is that it is a valid email that you can access,sign up and away you go
