what is pco, hqv, lqv, pcv licensed driver.Whit which letter they match?
    For example,a,b,c,d,c+e,

Translating what you post, I guess you're asking what is the licence category for: LGV over 3500kg with trailer up to 750kg is category C LGV over 3500kg with trailer over 750kg is category C+E PSV bus with over 8 seats & trailer up to 750kg is cat D PSV bus with over 8 seats & trailer over 750kg is D+E There's no such thing as lqv or hqv, and pco refers to the Public Carriage Office, it's not a licence category.

How does the new Denon 3808CI compare to the Onkyo 875?
The new Denon 3808 is supposedly coming out this month and I'm thinking of purchasing one, but I want to know FIRST AND FOREMOST, does the Denon have the HQV and the HDMI 1.3? (Cuz I know the Onkyo 875 does..) After answering that, what does the Denon 3808CI have that the Onkyo 875 does / doesn't?

Like a significant number of audio/video enthusiasts I feel both A/V receiver models are worthy of serious consideration. For preliminary information on the Denon AVR-3808CI please see the relevant Webpages listed below. The Denon AVR-3808CI should be available beginning in late August. The most obvious difference between both models is the internal video processors: the Denon AVR-3808CI uses Faroudja DCDi (FLI-2310) video processing and the Onkyo TX-SR875 uses the Silicon Optix HQV Reon-VX video processor. (Personally I much prefer that all VIDEO processing take place in the DVD player or in an outboard processor.) For whatever it’s worth it appears that the Onkyo TX-SR875 is equipped with three DSPs (digital signal processors) as opposed to two DSPs in the Denon AVR-3808CI. Otherwise they appear to be fairly similar in terms of features and basic specifications. Both models are equipped with HDMI 1.3a connections (see Onkyo’s press release, 2007 Line-Up Brochure, and/or TX-SR875 Instruction Manual below.) The prices for Onkyo products are much more likely to be discounted by authorized dealers than Denon’s products. To perform a fairly thorough evaluation of the video processing, as well as determine the best choice of interconnection, i.e. HDMI versus component or RGB, I highly recommend purchasing a copy of Silicon Optix’s (HD) HQV test DVD. Combined with a handful of reference quality, high-definition DVD movies a consumer should have little difficulty determining which receiver, type of interconnection, or display, provides better performance. HD HQV Benchmark http://www.hqv.com/benchmark.cfm Pending the widespread release of both products, along with thorough reviews, one can only conjecture about the performance each of these receivers will provide. There is little doubt that Denon and Onkyo currently represent two of the finest consumer electronics manufacturers in Asia when it comes to producing high performance audio/video receivers. Like many I’m looking forward to the opportunity to audition the Denon AVR-3808CI and Onkyo TX-SR875 audio/video receivers as soon as possible.

How does the Denon 3808CI compare to the Onkyo TX-SR875?
I know the Onkyo has the HQV, while the Denon 3808 doesn't, but I've heard nothing but bad things about the Onkyos, and heard nothing but good things about the Denon... I don't know who to listen to, and I'm looking to upgrade.. So what do I do? Which is the superior A/V Receiver?

Hi.Aaron. The Denon AVR 3808CI and the Onkyo TX-SR875 both have similar specifications. However, the Denon has 3 independent Power Transformers and 6 independent Power Supplies .The greatest compromise in a Receiver is the use of a single power supply for the preamp, power amp and tuner which degrades the sound The Denon seems to have corrected that shortcumming. As far as i know the Onkyo has just one power supply This feature alone gives the Denon an advantage over the Onkyo. But there is still the question of the subjective sound quality .They both have their individual sound characteristics which you should listen to before choosing one.
