Why has walmart dropped Olivio butter spread made by Lee Iacocca's foundation?
They have donated 25 million to diabetes research. I went to the walmart store in Lake City Florida to get some more in the 2# size tub, and was told it was discontinued. I found the blend of olive oil and canola, etc. to be of agreeable taste and texture that rivals butter, within a reasonable price per pound. Some politics afoot? or a butter spread war going on?

Why has Walmart discontinued Lee Iacocca's Olivio butter spread?
I went to Lake City Florida and was told it was dropped from the dairy section. To me it was a great tasting blend of olive oil and others like hyrogenated soybean ,canola, etc. Iacocca's foundation donates to diabetic research. Is there a butter spread war going on? or is it a political thing? Sam's does the same thing!
But it flew off the shelves! explain that contradiction!
Because the demand was too low to stock it.
