Strand D "kernel crunching" Nate has started using a mechanical corn planter. He has been planting 166 rows of corn 36 inches apart. He decides to decrease the space between rows to 30 inches to increase the number of rows he can plant. Assuming the length of his rows stays the same, what will be the percent increase in the amount of corn Nate must plant rounded to the nearest whole? A. 1.2 B. 17 C. 20 D. 83

Basically, where he had 5 rows before (every 180 inches) he now has room for 6 rows, an increase of 20% (6 is 120% of 5) C
