On-line IQ tests are the next closest thing to worthless. Not every test uses the same scale, for example 132 on one test may equal 165 on another. There is no standardization, though an IQ of 100 is considered for most tests. Most internet tests are also NOT timed, which is generally used as a factor in the scoring of real tests. Lastly, IQ values are no longer given out by real tests, they now use percentages (my IQ is in the top 2%, would be an example of how results are now given). I know this doesn't help your question much, however it is something which you should be aware of.
Does the IQ test really test a persons intelligence, is it a fair test to all races of people?
If a person is not educated by western standards and cannot read or write, how are they to fair on an IQ test. Would that not mean they are disadvantaged.
I always hated IQ tests!! I mean there are so many facets of the human mind that one test cant possibly measure overall intelligence.As we grow older we gain intelligence through life experiences. My Grandmom always said to keep reading and learning all your life. I spent years wasted with alcohol and drugs and now i finally realized that ( ihate to quote this but..) "the mind is a terrible thing to waste."
