Questions & Answers

iWeb: How do I know how many people have subscribed to my podcast?
I've got a podcast on my website which was created in Apple iWeb. I'm wondering if there's a way to see how many people have subscribed to it. Can't see anything about this in the iWeb help - do I need to get another piece of software to do this?

Without a specific sign-up mechanism you may have to rely on unique network address references for each day. If you counted the number of unique addresses that referenced your podcast each day that would give you a fairly decent approximation as to how many people have subscribed.

What is the easiest way to send a webpage built in iWeb to someone not operating on a mac?
That probably sounds.. really weird.. and you're probably asking why I would want to do that, but I need to send an iweb page to my teacher, however I am not looking to publish the page. My teacher uses windows, so I have tried copy-pasting into pages so that I could export the file as a word or .rtf document.. which was really messy and difficult with the formatting. Any other ideas?

Why can't you simply save it to a folder? That is an option with iWeb. Then you will have an HTML file that anyone can open with any Web browser, such as the inevitable Internet Explorer for Windows. You have to keep in mind that at all referenced files will be saved in a separate folder. You can't simply embed the files the way you can with Microsoft Word.

How do I upload a website from iWeb using GoDaddy as my server?
I have been working on this for hours and can't upload from iWeb to the GoDaddy server. When the tech from GoDaddy ran out of ways to help me, he suggested an "html redirect for mac." (Yes, I have a mac.) I have NO idea what he's talking about and still do not know how to upload my website onto the internet. HELP!

May be you can contact a web designer at website like http://definitivelab.com/ .
