Judas Priest?
When people say they dont like Judas Priest they think -- you got another thing coming -- Breaking the law , those songs are good, but FAR FAR FAR from their best.
Has anyone ever heard the Painkiller album, Ram it Down, or Turbo , Angel Of Retribution? And say they like heavy metal, but not Judas Priest?
There older work is considered Rock to us, but there newer work is actualy metal. Well i didnt like Judas priest at first either...
Rob halfords voice creeped me out with KK and Glenn tipptons guitar playing. I swear they are some of the most unique and talented.
But as soon as i heard their newer stuff away from limewire , it was like .. i was missing out. Does anyone think any metal head who appreciates Metallica or Iron Maiden should have Judas Priest go hand in hand?

Screaming for vengeance is a great album, but there guitar playing had progressed so much in their later albums even if they didnt have as much soul as screaming for vengeance
lol you should check them out if u dont know who they are. And dont limewire them, unless u know what ur looking for.
Yes i almost have all their albums, and i enjoy every last one of them at different times, ram it down isnt a good album but its fast.. and most new metal heads want fast..
I agree entirely. I think, perhaps eventually, Judas Priest created the perfect metal sound. I just love their music so much. I have a weeks holiday from school from today and I've been listening to Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and also a band called Fates Warning (maiden influenced) to celebrate. :)
I got a Priest CD a few years ago after seeing a few second clip of them on TV just out of interest, like a gamble really. WOW I was amazed. I really really love their music. People talk some crap about them now but Priest are just the absolute metal GODS!!!! I want to see them in their Nostradomus tour if I can.
ANYWAY to answer the question YES. Judas Priest's sound is metal perfection and it's clear to hear the influence they have had on some metal bands, whose fans may foolishly be disrespectful to Judas Priest. They need their metal education.

The kind I'm looking for is either the British Steel album background, or one with all the band members on it(Halford,Tipton,Gillan,Downing,etc).

What is the most impressive song to see Rob Halford perform live with Judas Priest?
I'm young enough that I've only had the opportunity to see Priest once, but
Diamonds and Rust took the cake for me.
