My airport signal on my toolbar keeps disappearring and reappearing on my macbook pro, whats wrong?
Macbook pro 17". Airport logo in toolbar is present sometimes, and sometimes its not there at all. Whats the diagnosis.
Many things affect signal strength: Distance to the router, structures in the way (walls, floors, etc), outside signal interference.
There might be a problem with the router itself, or your internet connection.
Also make sure no one is getting a free ride on your bandwidth, password protect your wireless router.
How Do I Set Up Wireless Internet On My Macbook Without A Airport Base Station?
I am purchasing a new MacBook for school with the student discount and since Im putting all of my money into the Macbook, do I NEED the Airport Base Station? Can't I just use a regular wireless internet router like Linksys Wireless G Router? If I can then howcome Apple is telling me that to set up wireless internet I need a Airport Base Station?
I also have a mac book and a pc and I am able to connect both. try calling you isp provider
