do i need to apply online for the credit card again?
i applied for a macys credit card and was approved but then cancelled it immediately after i applied for certain reasons. i now decided i do want this credit card. do i HAVE to apply again online or can i call macys and tell them to open the credit card back again? i dont want another inquiry on my credit report if i dont have to have one.

He cracked my password to my yahoo account and sent emails from it. And I guess while he was in my email he found out I have accounts with macys, overstock and ebay. Well he went into those accounts and purchase $300 worth of stuff and has it being sent to my house. So I think he did this in order to run my bills up. Should I contact the police, can they track the ip he used to order this stuff. My bank is giving me my money back but I'm still pissed.

How to pay Old Navy credit card?
I went to Old Navy today and the cashier asked if I wanted to apply for the Old Navy card and get 10%off my purchase. I said sure. I signed up and everything.This was the first time I went to Old Navy for the past year and bought something. She did not mention that this Old Navy card was actually a credit card. I thought it would be a simple card like those at Kohls or Macys where you can pay your credit card off right at the store. When the cashier actually told me it infact was a real credit card, it was too late to cancel my order. So when I got home, I wanted to see if I could pay my credit card off right now online, since I will be leaving the country for 2 weeks. It would not let me pay it. I called the phone number for Old Navy and they said my balance was $0.00.
Basically, my questions are:
How do I pay my Old Navy credit card?
Can I pay it online and by sending a check through mail?
When will I receive my new credit card?
Lastly, can I cancel/close my credit card anytime?
I am a cashier at Old Navy and always tell the card applicants that they only get the 10% off discount and coupons if they are approved for the card, and that they will receive a statement in the mail for the amount of their purchase that day.
Even though the cashier didnt tell you it was a credit card, you did in fact sign your name on the line of the application, and agree to what you were signing up for, so for future reference, read what you sign, and/or ask questions before your information is processed.
To answer your questions:
(1) None of the stores accept payment for the card in the store. You CAN pay the bill online, but if you went online the day you opened the card, I doubt your information was in the system. I would wait 3-5 business days and try it again.
(2) You can pay online using an "e-check" - you type in your account #, etc... so there is no need to mail the check. You also have the option of paying over the phone, however I believe there is a $10 service charge (no charge for paying online). The # is 1-877-ACCOUNT.
(3) The card should arrive in the mail to the address you provided in about 10 days.
(4) Once your balance is paid off, you may close the card at any time. However, in order to redeem the coupons that you received when you opened the card, you must use your card to purchase those items. Also, if you earn enough rewards to get bucks back ($5 back for every $200 you put on the card), you have to use your card to pay the remainder of your total after the rewards are used. It's kind of sneaky of the company to do it this way, but it encourages the customer to use their card and continue earning rewards. You can call 1-877-ACCOUNT to cancel your account if you'd like to.
