Where can I find old McCalls stamped embroidery patterns?
Looking for old stamped McCalls embroidery patterns from the late 1940's and '50s. Especially a deer figure lying in the grass(large) and the set of two pictures to embroider, one of tulips and the other of iris.

You may be able to find them by Googling "mccall's embroidery" and then deer or tulip or iris. It would probably be time-consuming, but if it's out there, that's how you would find it. Good luck! .

looking for knit christmas stocking pattern from McCalls magazine- had train with TOOT above it?
There was also a christmas stocking pattern with dutchgirls on it in the same magazine. I believe the pattern was in a late 70's early 80's McCalls needlework & Crafts magazine

Here's a few suggestions.... Maybe one of the stockings on these sites will do: http://www.nakedsheep.com/chrisstockit.html http://www.blackberry-ridge.com/christms.htm http://www.joslynsfiberfarm.com/christmas_stockings.htm OR There are a couple sites that sell old issues; perhaps you could describe the stocking to the seller and THEY would recognize it: http://www.ioffer.com/i/Dec-1986-McCall-s-Needlework-Crafts-Christmas-Pattern-10261678 http://www.pastpaper.com/List-WomensMiscMcCallsNeedlework.htm
