What's the rule of numbering of the Yahoo MLB box score pages?
Take July 12's box score of the Yahoo MLB page for Yankees vs. Tampa Bay as example, the id for this page was assigned as 270712130 by Yahoo, we could see 0712 as the date and 130 as the number of the game. If we could get the rule, we could view almost all the games of the past years.
If you want box scores from past seasons, just visit baseball-reference.com or retrosheet.org. Both provide box scores dating back to the 19th century.
Otherwise, Yahoo's id breakdown is as such:
27- the year without 0's
7-the month
12-the day
130-random id ranging from 100 to 400
Anyone else seeing missing scores on Yahoo! MLB?
Hi, I've seen this before, like last week !?! :-( but some of the 4:05 Pacific, 7:05 EST games do not have any stats yet, and have been going for an hour now!?
I've actually e-mailed Yahoo! about this before, something about an 'update server', but this is kinda ridiculous !?

This, of course, messes up Fantasy BB stats!? though I don't think it's actually a problem with that per se!?

Here's the e-mail I got from Yahoo! Customer Care:
Hello Mike,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Sports.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are currently working
with our data provider to restore the live scoring/data feed that has
been interrupted.
Live scoring updates on StatTracker, GameChannel, etc. will resume as
soon as this data error has been corrected. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may have caused.
If the problem is corrected while games are in progress, scoring and
stats will update rapidly to catch up with real-time. Should the problem
persist, fantasy scoring will be updated overnight. No stats will be
lost as a result of this problem.
Thank you again for your report of this error. We are working with our
data partners to minimize outages of this nature in the future.

they have to update their system every year or so because the stats get too deep and high, its being fixed tomorrow
Why doesn't My Yahoo show my MLB scores? It showed 2 days ago but not now.?
I had the same problem last fall with my NFL scores. It did not show them. If I want to see my scores i have to use My MSN
go to yahoo and try again. It happend to me.
