    NADAC Agility Question?
I'm having my first NADAC trial in 2 weeks (never competed with them) and my dog is entered in standard, jumpers and full house. My trainer says that if we Q in jumpers and full house, we get some sort of title or award. I'm having trouble finding info on this (she could be wrong), and I would appreciate anyone sharing their knowledge. Thanks

NADAC is a lot of fun. And for a new competitor, it gives you a lot of runs in one day (some of the NADAC trials in my neck of the woods have as many as 8 runs a day you can enter in). If you've done other organizations but not NADAC, here are a couple of things you'll "likely" find to be true with NADAC. 1. No pause table 2. No teeter 3. Longer course with more distance between obstacles. If you've got a fast dog, than the ability to "send" is important. 4. No or few wraps (unlike say USDAA). 5. Definitely obstacle discrimination. 6. NADAC allows training on the course as long as you aren't too obnoxious about it. Full House (based on the card game) is actually a CPE event. I'm not aware of it being offered by NADAC. NADAC offers a lot of games but I've never seen Full House offered at NADAC trials here in the mid-Atlantic. So I "think" your trainer is wrong on this when it comes to NADAC. Technically speaking, it's not if you get Q's in 3 events (say: standard or jumpers or whatever) you get a title because it used to be possible to get 5 out of 10 points on a run and get a Q. Think of it as points: you need 30 points to get your novice standard title and 30 for jumpers and so on. Here is the link to the NADAC page with info on titles: http://www.nadac.com/Rules_for_NADAC_trials.htm#_Titles
