Questions & Answers
Will the receiver of the nike+Ipod package still record data without a nano? I don't have a nano (I bought a 30GB video), but I would still like to keep a record of my running. With the transponder properly placed in my nike shoe, can I just carry the receiver in my pocket for it to record data? Or does it need to be hooked up with a nano? When I get home, I'd like just hook up the receiver with the itunes store.
No it's just a receiver no power or memory.
NIKE+ and iPod questions...? i want to get Nike+ for my ipod nano, i have a few questions though....
first of all can you make a pocket in any nike shoes for eth nike+ receiver? any ideas for makeing a pocket or something in regular Nike Shox shoes?
do they make Nike+ shoes for boys(kids)?
whats a good armband, or some other way to carry it, that will work with the nike+?
much appriciated!
No need for Nike+ shoe. It's more for convenience and protecting the sensor from the elements. You can make a little cavity in your old shoes if you like, or tie it down under the laces in a pouch, so long as the sensor is on your foot somewhere.
I doubt they have kid sizes right now. Maybe later.
Armband is by your own personal choice and depends on whether you like running with stuff in your pockets or run with no pockets.
There is no best armband. They all shake your iPod like a Martini. I put my iPod in an empty 3-fold soft leather wallet & keep it in my front pocket because I don't like telling the world I have $200 strapped on my arm.
FYI: Battery on the sensor is not replaceable. Batteries dies? You gotta buy another $29.99 sport kit. Hope this helps!
