Questions & Answers
which is better? the nike plus armband or the ipod plugin thing? i dont know anything about either but i'm getting one of them given to me.
The ipod plug in is good if you want to listen to music while running. The arm band only records your data.I prefer the i pod plug in because not only does it allow you to play music while you do your run but with a push of a button it will give you audio feedback telling you how many calories you burned, pace, and distance run so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. The band will give you the same data but displayed on the data screen which is pretty small and you would probably have to stop your run to view it.either way the nike plus system is a great tool to get you motivated to run.Ipod plug in only works with ipod nano's so if you don't have have a nano you will have to buy one as well.
I need an ipod armband that will let me use the nike plus? i have an ipod nano 3g and i was wondering what armband lets the blutooth receiver out the bottome for the nike plus
Nike has actually made one that fits with the sensor on:
http://www.amazon.com/APPLE-BLACK-NIKE-SPORT-BAND/dp/B000M5ERPC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1196298210&sr=8-2
Little pricey, but totally worth it if you'd get the use out of it. I just turn my ipod upside down in the cheap arm band I have. Doesn't look quite a pretty, but does the job!
