Questions & Answers
Does the nike plus ipod sports kit work accurately without nike plus trainers? The sales assistant in the shop said it works on impact and that's why it rests in the footbed of the nike plus trainers, but would the impact be any different if it is attached in pouch on top of the trainers i.e through the laces?
The Nike+iPod does not require the Nike+ shoes. Good thing too, because they're generally not as good as some of the other Nike shoes. All that is required is that the sensor be attached to your shoe in some fashion.
A popular method of keeping your sensor on your shoe is the Shoe Pouch. A lot of my running buddies use it without complaint. It works, it's accurate, and it stays on. In fact, the same can be said about just about every similar product on the market. As long as the sensor stays on your foot, you will get remarkably accurate readings. It's hard to ask for more from a $7.99 product (except that it used to be $5.99 before it got so popular).
Does the Nike plus sports kit work with with iPod video? The Nike+ sport kit looks excellent, and as a runner, I wanted it for Christmas. I have an iPod Video (30 GB) and I was wondering if it works on them, or just for Nanos.
it works just for nanos. sorry to tell u this but i was also dissapointed after i found out this after purchasing the kit.
