Questions & Answers
Does the nike plus ipod sports kit work accurately without nike plus trainers? The sales assistant in the shop said it works on impact and that's why it rests in the footbed of the nike plus trainers, but would the impact be any different if it is attached in pouch on top of the trainers i.e through the laces?
The Nike+iPod does not require the Nike+ shoes. Good thing too, because they're generally not as good as some of the other Nike shoes. All that is required is that the sensor be attached to your shoe in some fashion.
A popular method of keeping your sensor on your shoe is the Shoe Pouch. A lot of my running buddies use it without complaint. It works, it's accurate, and it stays on. In fact, the same can be said about just about every similar product on the market. As long as the sensor stays on your foot, you will get remarkably accurate readings. It's hard to ask for more from a $7.99 product (except that it used to be $5.99 before it got so popular).
can i use any ipod with nike plus or is it only ipod nano? I have a 30G video ipod and I was wondering if i was wasting my time and money getting the nike plus chip and trainers.
It's a brilliant little system, but it only works with the Nano. x
why did apple only make nike plus for ipod nano? i dont understand why the nike+ running shoes are only compatible with the nano. what sense does that make? why wont it work with all ipods. it just seems really ignorant. Can anybody explain why they did that?
probably becuase there idiots and they didnt know they'd be singling out like half of there market. but it might be becuase most people who run use a nano becuase there not big and heavy like the video.
