Questions & Answers
Inserting the Nike Plus sensor in the shoe.? I just bought a pair of Nike running shoes, and they are Nike plus running shoes. I do not own an Ipod or the Nike plus kit but I'm interested in this whole thing and considering purchasing an Ipod and the kit. I was curious how the sensor would go into the shoe so I took the padding out and there is a foam thing(I don't know what to call it) where the sensor would go. Is that supposed to come out? I've tried gently tugging at it but I don't want to ruin my shoes so I left it alone. How do I take that out to put a sensor in once I buy it?
Yep, the foam thing comes out. It's a bit fiddly to get at....just unlace the shoes a little and pull the tongue and insole up, tipping the shoes upside down helps too. The sensor is far easier to get out than the foam thingy.
Can i use my Nike Plus sports kit without a shoe pouch, or attachment in my own running shoes.? i don't have Nike + shoes and can't get my sensor to work with my shoes as it won't pick up a signal. do i need a shoe pouch?
No. If you need it, I'm selling a nike+ runner's gift pack that has an iPod nano, $100 Nike gift card, and a 30 min. iTunes Workout Gift Card through the sller: "aos-chapelhill" and ends on January 30th 14:27:38 PST.
Nike Plus Running Shoes? I was due for some new running shoes and purchased the nike plus with Ipod kit. I am loving them but really haven't heard much feedback on them. How are you all liking them?
I love the Nike + system. I have had it for just over a year. The website is great for keeping me motivated. You can see how your pace is improving, make goals, join challenges, etc.
