Questions & Answers
What is the the best Q-Ride in Brisbane, QLD? I'm looking to take a Q-Ride Course in Brisbane and I would like to know if anyone has had and good or bad experences.
I did a course with top rider a few years back, they were quite good. It was a safety course I did after 200 000km of riding, and I learnt a few things.
It's a bit hard to ask a new rider what is good and what is not.
Is Fuji Q Highland a day trip from Tokyo? I am currently holidaying in Japan, and am in Tokyo. I want to go to Fuji Q Highland, especially to ride the Dodonpa. But also to see Mt Fuji from afar of course.
Question is this: is there much else to see around there to make it into an overnight trip? Or should I just stay in Tokyo and make it into a day trip?
There's no trainline from Fuji Q to Hakone, Atami or Odawara. And the lakes aren't that exciting.
So I think a day trip is best. Get back to Tokyo for some Karaoke or something.
Today's (Monday) weather is perfect for looking up at the snow capped Fuji. I remember being in Fuji Q and the sun was reflecting off icy Mt Fuji so it looked like a 3,000 metre glasshouse.
Why is it so hard to believe that the US and A-Q had mutually competing interests in seeing a 911 ev Both the US government and A-Q had mutual interests in seeing a 911-type event occur. Of course they were somewhat competing, since A-Q wanted to lure the US into a fight in their backyard and the US wanted a reason to enter the Middle East, but each side thought they could take out the other.
The US government needed a means with which to justify entering a sovereign in the Middle East in order to set up a permanent police station there because of oil interests, and a terrorist attack would provide the necessary public support for that attack.
A-Q needed a sufficient bait to lure the US into a confrontation in their backyard, because previous attempts to lure them (USS Cole, etc.) had failed and they knew they had no chance of fighting the US on its own soil.
So A-Q hatched the 911 plan, and the US, by virtue of its electronic eavesdropping programs, picked up on it and piggybacked along, content to go along for the ride and let it happen.
Why is that hard to envision?
In case you weren't aware, the US government has electronic surveillance programs, Echelon, Carnivore and Omnivore, that are capable of data mining and analyzing all electronic traffic on the planet.
They had them in place prior to 911. Echelon has been around since as long as 1988, Omnivore since 1998.
So it's absurd to believe that the US wasn't intercepting A-Q electronic transmissions prior to 911.

Curt, anyone with foreknowledge of the conspiracy who failed to act to stop it would be just as guilty as any other conspirator. And any known conspirator would hang for the deaths of 3,000 people.
Are hundreds of millions of dollars a fair exchange for your certain death? I seriously doubt it.
If you think the US has never contemplated or planned a false flag terror operation in order to justify a war in the past, think again.
Just search Operation Northwoods, you'll find all the proof you need.
Ever heard the phrase "if one hangs, we all hang"?
Basically means that in a conspiracy of this type of magnitude, ANY failure of secrecy ensures the death of EVERY conspirator, so every conspirator has a mutually assured destruction deterrent to leaking.
And there's no question that if any of the conspirators leaked or were discovered, they'd hang. That's a certainty.
Well blake, that's exactly WHY you rarely see the insurgents fighting US forces in open battle.
They know it's sheer idiocy to do so. Why fight on your enemy's terms? Make them fight on yours.
It is not hard to envision at all. With the current administration, it is very believable that they would let this attack happen.
