its not even uniform from company to company, much less state to state. Some only have 1/2 hr lunch and some have paid hour lunch.
I don't know if any one person came up with it, its just a standard company policy.
Think about it- you don't get paid for that time because your not working.
What's something good to eat when you have a really bad headache that makes you feel kind of queasy?
The odd thing is, it's making you feel a little queasy and lightheaded but you have hunger pains. So what's something to eat that won't make it worse?
It is NOT drug or alcohol induced!
You might want something light with protein, to raise your blood sugar level: yogurt or cottage cheese would be good.... drink some water ... lay down with a cold washcloth on your forehead

Everyone tells me I should just stick it in the washer, but I think of all the nasty bacteria that's left behind and I have to use the same washer to clean our clothes and the baby's clothes.
Does running a bleach and hot water cycle afterward get rid of all the bacteria? What can I do to totally disinfect?
That's normally what I do. I use color safe bleach when washing my rugs and rags from the latrine. If your still paranoid you can spray the inside of the washer with lysol spray
