Where can i download a copy of safari other than apple?
I need to download safari again because it got deleted off my mac. but apple only has downloads for windows and tell ppl with mac to just use software update (which wont work unless you actually have an older version of safari). so is there a site that i can get a free copy from? btw i tried download.com but they only link you to the apple website.
Brothersoft is hosting it here (I think its the full program). Then just update with Software Update.

I dont know if you will be able to install it with limited access, you might need the admin to install it for you, sorry but that is the only way I know to do it.
I'm about to download Safari from Apple. What is it?
I was using iTunes and it said a new version was available, so I selected download, and there were two checkboxes, both already checked, one that says "iTunes + Quicktime", and the other "Safari". I didn't know what Safari was, so I just selected next, and it's about to start downloading it.
What is it?
(PS: I'm using Microsoft XP Home)
Safari is an Internet browser, Like Internet Explorer and Firefox, that's all. It just lets you surf the net.
