Is it hard to get accepted into SDCC or UCSD?
I have a 3.8 GPA and I have over one hundred hours of community service at two places. One is a Textile Company and the other is an Elderly Home (I thought that being consistent in one or two places would be better than a bunch of random places). I am an Honor student and I am an Editorial & Copy Editor at my high school. I am also deeply involved with two clubs at my school. One being a political club and the other is the Key Club.
I don't know about SDCC but I can say with certainty that you can get into any CC you want. I go to UCSD and I have heard of people accepted with less. It also depends on your personal statement and SAT Scores. But from what you are telling me it sounds like you will get in. Just in case though, apply to other schools and other UC's. is sdcc.exe a virus? i have problem with lots of popup in IE :(?
I use Firefox as default browser... but IE has been very unkind to me.. i have no idea what has happened..but IE pops up a lot of windows even if i don't touch my machine ;( i would rather remove or deactivate IE but.. I have not so much knowledge... in startup i see that sdcc is hooked of as a running program in startup.. is it safe to remove it? delete it from the macine? or what can i do? remember i'm blond hehe ;( thanks for answers :)
by the way.. i have win98se as OS... i've tried a lot of antispyware and so on, ad-aware, stop-sign, online scanning and so on but thei find nothing?

i have also had yahoo toolbar on the ie browser but it doesn't help ;(
i deleted sdcc and installed yahoo toolbar again...and have run CCleaner several times.. i really think it has solved my problems? hope so then... hehe but thanks anyway for answering my cry for help :) i'll come back if it still hunts me down..hehe. sincerely thanks from me here in norway :)
I would install Yahoo Toolbar to prevent the popups. I am assuming that will help you with your problem, I will do more research and get back to you
Are there back issue dealers @ San Diego Comic Con SDCC?
I usually go to Wizard World Chicago and look for old comics in the cheap bins 25 cents, 50 cents, etc. Are there booths like that at ComicCon? Is there enough programming to stay busy for 4 days? I have looked at their website, but I am curious to know what people who attend it regularly think.
I've never attended ComicCon, but from all the announcements, panels, and movies previewed there, I think that there would be plenty of programming for the 4 days. I know each comic book company has panels there and usually make big accoucements during them. Last year they previewed Shoot Em Up and had Clive Owen there, so I think there is more than enough programming to keep you busy.
