Questions & Answers

What can TSRs do in between calls in an inbound call center enviroment?
@qaa_question

catch up on some reading. some companies allow their tsr's to surf the internet on their workstations for as long as the tsr is not attending to a call and these sites are "clean sites" like your web based email or friendster or yahoo answers. fix your schedule, expenses, and the like.

how do i get my computer to run faster other clearing tsrs?
@qaa_question

The following steps should speed up your PC and will make any game run better and smoother. Do all of the steps with patience. Please note that deleting unnecessary and junk files are necessary to attain smooth performance of your PC. 1. Run Disk clean-up. Then delete unused files. (start>program>accessories>sys... tools> disk clean-up) 2. Check for disk errors. (right click on a disk-drive>properties>tools >error checking, then restart) 3. Run disk defragmenter, no matter what it says. 4. Delete cookies. (you can do it from your browser options: tools>internet options) 5. Delete cache or temporary files. (you can do it from your browser options) or, click on 'start", 'run', type 'temp' then click ok. Whatever shows up, just delete. 6. Delete all history files and search history. (you can do it from your browser options, or, CTRL + H, then delete) 7. Empty recycle bin. 8. Delete unused icons & short-cuts from anywhere including desktop. 9. Uninstall any software or game that you use only once or twice in a week. 10. Delete temporary internet files. (you can do it from your browser options: tools>internet options) 11. Delete all recent files. (click on start, click run, then type "recent", delete all the files which show up) 12. Run a full virus scan. If any threat found, eliminate that completely. 13. Run a software which can remove any spyware or adware. Like: Ad Aware, Windows defender etc. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1 http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Windows-Defender/3000-12771_4-10598014.html?tag=lst-0-1 * Updating: (Needed only when updates are available) 14. Update your Windows by installing latest updates. 15. Update your audio & video drivers. 16. Update softwares, browsers, games that you use. Ernst & Young vs. PricewaterhouseCoopers, which one is a better company to work for?
I received an offer for a TSRS position with EY and a SPA position with PwC. Now I am in a dilemna on which offer to accept. Both firms seem the same to me in these aspects: 1) I like both firm very much, they both seem promising. 2) I have friends from both company. 3) Compensation & benefits are very similar. 4) I like the people I met in both firms. 5) The type of work are pretty much the same. Now since, they are pretty much the same to me, the hard part is to distinguish which one would be the best one in terms of career growth and opportuinties, better reputation in the industry, and which one are more hard on their employees in terms of work hours (I know the big4 require longer work hours during the busy season). There's got to be something that one firm is better than the other, what are those?

Go with your gut feelings. Close your eyes and try to make a picture of you working with associates you met during the interviews. Can you see you are comfortable. If yes, where? Also, i know you are in both big ones, but there is one bigger than another. The bigger will give you more reputation. Once you made your decision never look back. You be better off where ever you go. They both are great, but one is bigger. I choosed one of both. I think i choosed the best one.............Good Luck.........
