If the ups site says in transit will I get it today?
The UPS.com tracking site says my package is in transit. It is about 15 miles away right now. Is there anyway I would get it today since it's not that far? I really need this package and the company told me I should get it today. What do you think will it come today?
You can actually track your package right down to where it is at the on-time estimate. Get your tracking # on the receipt

Is the given delivery date accurate for UPS order tracking?
I am currently tracking an order I made at an online store. I got an e-mail that allows me to recieve updates on my order as it is shipped to me. The UPS order tracking site says my order is on-time and is shedualed for delivery for 8/24/06. Now, here is my question. Will the package be dilivered to my door on 8/24/06? OR will the package be in the general area on 8/24/06? OR will it be in the state on 8/24/06? OR will it be in the nearest major city on 8/24/06? Catch my drift? Am I going to have this thing on 8/24/06 or is it going to take an extra couple days to get it specifically to my house? P.S I do not live in the "middle of nowhere."
I WORK FOR UPS, YOUR ITEM WILL BE DELIVERED ON 8/24/06 AS SCHEDULED.

hey why is it when i check on ups site and put the tracking number and where you can see the progress of the package it's still on the same, it says to check later but it still says that is departure scan from a state and it's stayed like that for a day,also says that the package schedule delivery date on 6/09 does that mean is going to arrive that day,i just want to know if it is because it hasn't made any progress
I know what you are talking about...I hate UPS...sometimes you already have the package and it still says its in some other state. If the shipper used a slower delivery type product--like standard shipping--they take their time--it may be on a plane, or in the warehouse getting ready to be put on the plane or truck. Check on it Monday morning--if there is not change in status, I'd give UPS a call. 1-800-PICK-UPS---oh BTW---make sure you are home, they will make you sign. If you arent there, you will have to go to your local UPS warehouse (ours is about an hour away)
