Questions & Answers
what is a group interview at waitrose going to be like? i have a group interview at waitrose. what do i expect?
You should expect a group exercise. You will still have a 1-2-1 or panel interview but you will be asked to participate in a group - maybe come up with a plan to sell something or to come up with a new product/design or put you in a situation and you would have to say how you would deal with it.
How shall i describe the type of employee John Lewis, Asda or Waitrose want? And the trend in their sales, size of stores?
Is this for a job interview or coursework?
The "typical" employee for these companies, on the shopfloors etc., will be the same for any retail business. Average levels of education will be low, relatievly high levels of staff turnover. Broadly speaking there isn't an average age, although there will be concerntrations of very young (17-22), and some retailers deliberately target older, possibly retired, employees.
Sales, size of stores... It is too big a question to ask! ASDA favour very large stores (linked to their Walmart owners preference), and have grown sales - but it is a highly competative market. John Lewis, again, its a department store chain so need large premises, but in city centre locations. Waitrose, a mix accross the portfolio!
Has anyone tried the waitrose baby bottom butter that's supposed to be amazing for your skin? Anyone tried it? And to what effect?
i did and let me tell you.... LOVED IT! I know its for babies. Which my sister put on hers, BUT I had extremely dry skin on my hands and legs soooo.... what the heck I put it on there not knowing it would not only give me soft skin but also my dry skin has not come back! I am in love with it. Definitely definitely buy it!
